On Saturday the 8th, Ron"PigPen"McKernan would have been 62 years old.Pig was the bluesy soul of the early Grateful Dead, and he was never really replaced(and I'm someone who loves Brent). It would have been interesting to see where the band might have gone had Pig hung around. The sound was definitely never the same after he died. So, here's a bit of "Easy wind" from 1970.
