Because I gotta admit, I kinda dig it...I know it gets a lot of shit for the "negative element" it seemed to draw to the scene...But is that really it's fault ?
Mark, Well, I remember that it caused a boom of a popularity explosion with the band, and it was blamed for the increased difficulty in getting tickets in the late '80's up until the end. I think it was held responsible for the fact that the scene got sort of "ugly" in ther '90's with the gate crashing and all that. It happens to coincide with when I got into the band as well(87), and I don't consider myself a "negative element" to the scene, but I think a lot of people view "Touch Of Grey", and the ensuing popularity as the "beginning of the end".
